Alliance of Vaver Vanguard with The Guild

Dear Hans Buchmann of the Vaver Vanguard,

I hope this message finds you well. We have meet informally on the battlefield in the past, however I shall reintroduce myself.

My name is Edmund Atheraton and I am the master of the Guild of The Path, I know that you are already aware of who we are and what we do.

I am sure you are a busy man so I will get straight to the point.

We have a common enemy who is growing in size and power far quicker than I can allow, they put Tabula Rasa at risk of the tyranny my order has fought to prevent for far too long.

They call themselves, the Eternal Knights. If they are allowed to continue to grow at their current rate neither my Guild or your Vanguard will be able to stop them, and they will soon control all our lands.

As it currently stands they already pose an extreme threat, my warriors are talented and experts at what they do but we are few, you have more numbers with strong soldiers but the Eernal Knights still outnumber you.

However, if we are able to combine our forces we will have the strength and numbers to not only contend with, but defeat these Knights.

As you are aware my people rely on income from hired work, however due to the urgency of this matter I am prepared to offer a discount for our services, I must still charge however to keep my people fed, healthy and well equipped.

I can also offer a level assurance that none of my warriors will side with any groups you are enemies with, however please understand that many members wonder the lands and news doesn't reach them for months or even years.

The Knights have many scouts that even my assassins can struggle to find, therefore they likely know of my plans to form an alliance with you.

If they are still unaware they no doubt will find out soon, so we must act quickly.

If you wish to create this alliance please meet me at your earliest convenience, we will discuss further details and terms in person.

I will post guards to assure the Knights are unable to interrupt us.

I thank you for your time,

Sincerely,

Edmund Atheraton,

Guild Master.

Vaver Vanguards reply to The Guild

Good Evening Edmund, Master of the Guild,

I hope that this letter finds you well, and you are much rested after your previous adventure of clearing the caves with some of the members of the Vangaurd.

I have been watching the movements of these supposed knights (the little honour they show would not be deserving of such a title, even in the most unruly parts of Tabula Rasa) and have heard rumours of a foul Necromancer, Dragon Kin,

Elves, and even part time furries joining forces in an attempt to gain a foothold on the mainland. The Vanguard met tonight, and we have discussed battle plans and strategies to combat the force that our spies have warned us is coming via a small but dangerous fleet from the seas to the east.

The Vanguard accepts your proposal, and it makes me glad that my blade never ceased your breath when we have faced each other previously. There may well be a use for you yet…..

Regards,

Hans Buchmann

 Commander of the Vanguard
