Warcry Wangaratta ("we", "us") runs this website, the Player Portal and the Muster sign-in app. This policy explains what information we collect through them, how we use it, and how to contact us about it.
Information you give us
- Tickets. When you buy tickets we collect the buyer's name and email address, the names of the people attending, and any allergies or dietary needs you tell us about, so we can run the event. Payment is handled by Square; we never see or store your card details. Checkouts that are never paid are deleted after five days.
- Player Portal accounts. Your name, email address and your characters. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email address from Google. Password reset emails are sent through our email provider, Resend.
- Quest submissions. Your name, your character's name, the quest details and any files you attach.
- Feedback. Feedback sent through our feedback page is anonymous. We don't ask for your name, email or account, and we don't store your IP address with it.
How we use it
We use this information to run events and game days, manage tickets and player records, reply to you, and improve the club. We don't sell your personal information.
Photos
Photos and videos from club events may appear in our gallery and on our Facebook pages. If you'd like a photo of you removed, contact us and we'll take it down.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
This website uses Google services that use cookies:
- Google AdSense shows advertisements on this site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Google Ads measures how well our own advertising for the club works, for example whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to visit the site.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The Player Portal and admin pages also store a sign-in token and your light/dark display choice in your browser so you stay signed in.
Where your information is kept
Our website and data are hosted with Vercel and Cloudflare, and may be stored on servers outside Australia. We limit access to club officials who need it and take reasonable steps to keep it secure.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can update your details in the Player Portal at any time. To ask what we hold about you, have something corrected, or have your account and information deleted, contact us using the details below.
